Aspects of this position include: project leadership of this key research team, design and execution of lab experiments, innovative problem solving, and data analysis. A successful candidate will leverage their experience, curiosity, and creativity to design and implement a high-throughput pipeline for T cell engineering.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and enhance T cell engineering pipelines using LEAH’s cutting-edge in-house gene editing platforms
• Create, update, and maintain experimental SOPs as the key basis for downstream protocol development in the vet clinics
• Recommend next steps based on experimental analysis
• Maintain detailed experimental records
• Aid in the hiring and managing of scientific staff for this lead team

• Proven record in immuno-oncology or related field
• Expertise in immunology and cell-mediated immunity
• Demonstrated record of innovation in molecular biology and/or cellular assays
• Direct experience with flow cytometry and immunolabeling
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, lean startup environment

Desired Traits:
• Familiarity with R programming
• Familiarity with: NGS/sequencing library preparation and analysis, and other genomic platforms

• Competitive salary commensurate with experience and credentials

“If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life” – cliché, right? Maybe, but our founders live this motto. If you’re looking for a “job”, LEAH Labs probably isn’t for you.
